Here's an opportunity to get better acquainted with our team that helps take care of all your equipment needs. Starting in our office, behind the scenes, are Mike, Chuck, and Salena.  You may have talked to them on the phone or met them at our office.  These are our team members that are usually not "making" calls but "taking" calls to do their best to schedule your service, order your parts or supplies, and answer your questions.

Mike Malinosky, service manager and scheduler, has been with Graphic Associates since 1977. With a background in computer science, in the 1980's, he helped lead a team to transition office procedures from a manual system to a totally computerized process - from "typewriter to keyboard".  In the 1990's, Mike put Graphic Associates out on the World Wide Web by creating their first website. Last year the 5th version of our website was released.  Y2K ushered in RIP's and CTP's and since they both involved computers Mike was the guy for the job of installing them.  When he's not solving computer issues as IT Manager, he's performing his Service Manager duties which include scheduling the Service Tech's. In his spare time, Mike does what he can to rescue feral and stray kitty cats and as a native Clevelander, has been and continues to be an Indian's fan "waiting for next year".

Chuck Horning, parts manager, joined Graphic Associates in 2007. He has a varied background in both retail and commercial business. His commercial background includes inside and outside sales, customer service, purchasing and inventory control. Chuck is an avid skier and met his wife skiing 35 years ago.

Salena McDaniel, has been with Graphic Associates since 2007. She has experience in retail business and has studied medical technology in college. In addition to her responsibilities as our accounts receivables and payables department, she answers most of our phone calls as well as assisting customers and visitors as our front desk receptionist. When not at work or school, Salena enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 1 year old son Xavier.

Then we have our Service Technicians, Denny, Roger, Keith and Norman. These are our team members that actually "make" the calls. Our technicians are all factory trained and knowledgeable to service our extensive product line. They periodically attend training sessions and manufacture schools to keep up with new technology. They are the ones who arrive at your location, diagnose your issues and do their best to get your equipment up and running. They are also responsible for installations, operator training and preventive maintenance contracts.

Denny Klinepeter has been servicing equipment for Graphic Associates since 2012. Denny lives west of Toledo and is responsible for service in Michigan. Denny began his career with Multigraphics in 1976 and attended training for everything from press to bindery including Challenge Machinery. Some years later, Multi merged with AB Dick and then Presstek purchased AB Dick. With Presstek, Denny became familiar with CTP and digital printing services. Denny is an avid Detroit Tigers Fan.

Roger Matusek joined Graphic Associates in 1984. Roger first started servicing the complete line of ATF Chief presses and Challenge press cutters. He then progressed to larger equipment from Ryobi, Senator paper cutters, and Saber / Prism paper cutters. In 1994, Roger started attending various Duplo product schools in Atlanta and California, and also working the Duplo booth at major trade shows. Roger is well-respected by the Duplo factory technicians for his troubleshooting abilities. Roger likes to ski in the winter and golf in the summer at his Florida vacation spot.

Keith Stumpf joined Graphic Associates in 1986 with a strong background in offset press operation. He attended at least ten Ryobi schools as well as two trips to Japan for factory training. Keith is also well-versed in digital printing with schools from Screen and OKI. In the finishing area, Keith is very experienced with Morgana creaser / folders and all UV Coating equipment. Keith has also been asked by many of our suppliers to work their booths at major trade shows. Keith would always rather ride his motorcycle than drive his truck, but carrying all his tools would be difficult that way.

Norman Rivera started with Graphic Associates in 1998 from a position as a maintenance technician in a major print shop. With the increasing demand for bindery equipment service, Norm attended factory schools with Baum, Challenge, Duplo, and Morgana. Norm has attended most of the Duplo perfect binding schools and most recently the newest Duplo system, the Duplo DBMi saddle stitcher /bookletmaker. Norm is an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot fan.

Jinxy, also a native Clevelander, joined Graphic Associates in 2008.  Having an open door policy, this friendly feral feline found an open door at Graphic Associates and wandered her way into the hearts of her co-workers.  She spends the day greeting visitors, watching the office aquarium and making sure (under direct order of Salena) NO MICE DARE ENTER!!!  Her favorite past time is sitting on an occupied desk with someone is working or sunning herself by an open window watching the birds on CAT-TV.  Jinxy also prides herself in keeping a clean work space. (Jinxy does not service machines, on occasion she might sleep on them though.)
